Kekana explained that the team is still finding its rhythm and will not sprint at the season's start. "Sometimes we are not going to start the season sprinting 100 miles an hour," he said. He praised the performance against Kaizer Chiefs, noting that Sundowns dominated possession and remain the African champions.
Defensive Concerns
Across all competitions, Sundowns have conceded five goals in three matches. Kekana identified set pieces as a key area for improvement and dismissed the issue as a lapse of concentration rather than a crisis. "We just need to improve how we deal with setpieces," he added.
