Mamelodi Sundowns FC have dropped their 2026/27 PUMA home kit, the first to wear two CAF Champions League stars above the crest. The launch follows the club’s second continental title in May 2026, sealing their place as Africa’s elite.
What’s new in the kit?
The shirt revives the club’s classic 1994 look-yellow shirt, blue shorts, white socks-with modern PUMA tech. Subtle debossed yellow stripes run across the fabric, while red PUMA logos pop on the chest and a thin green stripe adorns the collar. PUMA’s ULTRAWEAVE fabric and dryCELL/thermoregulation tech make the Authentic version elite-ready, while the Replica uses recycled polyester.
Why this kit matters for Masandawana
The launch ties directly to Sundowns’ May 2026 CAF Champions League win, their second continental crown. The campaign, “Shine on Masandawana,” pairs current stars Grant Kenana and Thapelo Morena with legends like Daniel “Mambush” Mudau and Hlompho Kekana. Kekana, who captained the 2016 title run, called the jersey “a piece of history” that honors past and present glories.

The Home kit drops on 31 July 2026. The Authentic shirt costs R2399, while the Replica men’s and women’s versions are priced lower. Both are available via official channels.
