Mamelodi Sundowns will play Orlando Pirates in the MTN8 Cup final at Moses Mabhida Stadium. The Durban venue is expected to stage the match, which would be its tenth time hosting this final.
Sundowns, who lead the Premier Soccer League, advanced after a semi-final victory over Golden Arrows. Pirates secured their place by beating Sekhukhune United. A draw to decide the final's format will be held on Monday.
The stadium has been refurbished to improve its pitch. It has been used little this season. Hosting the final would make it the most-used venue in the competition's history.
Orlando Pirates are seeking another MTN8 title. Mamelodi Sundowns, who are unbeaten recently, aim to win the trophy. The league leaders play Richards Bay next.
