Surprise Moriri has urged Mamelodi Sundowns supporters to continue backing head coach Miguel Cardoso. The club legend made his comments on 30 September, expressing confidence that the coach has earned the club's ongoing support.
Moriri pointed to the team's strong performances under Cardoso's leadership. "Miguel Cardoso has shown enough since taking charge to justify the club's decision to continue backing his project," he said.
This public endorsement arrives as Sundowns sit top of the Premier Soccer League. They have 20 points from eight matches and are unbeaten in their last five games, a run that includes four wins.
The team's next league match is an away trip to face Richards Bay on 17 October. Fans can view the full upcoming schedule on the club's fixtures list.
